High levels of LDL are a sign of a hormone imbalance; not a precursor to heart disease. If you or anyone you know has high LDL, be careful of taking statins or even reducing your fat intake. Fat is very good for you, as long as it is not processed or artificial fat. If your LDL is high, find out what your hormones are doing and work to correct the hormone imbalance. I spoke at length about this with Dr. Eric Serrano. Here is a article I found that helps explain it better.
